In a major step forward for its clean energy execution, Serentica Renewables has signed a PPA with SECI to supply electricity from a 600 MW (2,400 MWh) project. The company was the top winner in SECI’s highly competitive FDRE VII Assured Peak auction, walking away with the largest slice of the tendered capacity.
The project marks a technological shift toward dispatchable green power, requiring energy delivery strictly during high-demand, non-solar hours. Once operational, the installation will generate roughly 975 million units of green electricity annually, preventing over 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions while meeting India's surging evening power demands.
